JOS Fueling Sandy Relief
Hurricane Sandy, a late-season post-tropical cyclone, swept through the Caribbean and up the East Coast of the United States in late October 2012. The storm left dozens dead, thousands homeless and millions without power. Total damage is expected to be in the billions of dollars.
Jackson Oil made it our mission to help those in need, doing whatever we could to help. We sent three of our drivers; John Hailey, Steve Williams, and Craig Mason (shop); to deliver fuel to buses, generators, and wherever else needed fuel.
If it was not for our group at Jackson, none of this would have been possible. We pulled together as a team, working extra hours to cover our fellow co-workers who were out east.
Be sure to talk to John, Steve, and Craig about their experiences like their truck driver survival kit which consisted of saltines, cheese, hot sauce, orange juice, sardines, and Monster energy drink!
